Abstract Ring resonator is an essential element in silicon integrated circuit, it widely used as filter, wavelength multiplexer and switch single-mode operation regime. As the rapid development of mode division multiplexing (MDM) technique, ring that can process multi-mode signals simultaneously uniformly highly desired. However, severe modal dispersion makes identical transmission for different modes very hard. In this paper, by breaking through limitation conventional manipulation design with evanescent coupling or interference, we propose demonstrate a (MMRR) inspired free space geometric optics. Arbitrary number supporting be achieved simply widening waveguide width. For proof-of-concept demonstration, MMRR four fabricated uniform transmittance. Furthermore, architecture cascaded MMRRs are also demonstrated experimentally.
